PowerSchool SmartFind Express is a K–12 absence-management and substitute-placement system. Employees enter absences, administrators configure job and qualification rules, and the system contacts eligible substitutes so they can review and accept assignments without staff making every placement manually.
The product supports large and complex district substitute pools with customizable contact lists, mobile access, automated callouts, job instructions, reporting, and visibility into unfilled work. Districts should distinguish SmartFind Express from the former TalentEd company name and document any separate PowerSchool HR, payroll, analytics, or single sign-on connections.
