HMH Math Growth Measure is HMH’s computer-adaptive interim mathematics assessment delivered through the Ed platform. It estimates current achievement and growth and reports information by mathematical domain and skill across repeated administrations.
Districts use the measure for benchmark windows, instructional planning, grouping, and monitoring performance across students, classes, schools, and programs. Districts should align administration, accommodations, score interpretation, data access, and retention with the intended use of the assessment.

The HMH Growth Measures are a collection of research-based benchmark assessments that provide educators with an overall insight into how their students are performing in their grade level. With the exception of the Growth Measure Reading K–2, which is a fixed-form assessment, all other Growth Measure assessments (Growth Measure Reading, Spanish Reading Growth Measure, and Growth Measure Math) are computer-adaptive tests (CAT) that provide data on students’ reading or math performance on grade-level expectations and growth over time. The HMH Growth Measures offer multiple measures including a Scaled Score and performance levels. As computer-adaptive tests, they must be taken online and cannot be printed for offline testing.
