Literacy Platform Digital Reading Grades K–12
LightSail is a digital reading, content, and literacy platform. It is intended primarily for K–12 readers using digital texts and literacy activities, with students, teachers, reading specialists, librarians, and families using it to support independent reading, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and progress monitoring.
Learners access ebooks and texts, respond to embedded questions, write, and receive differentiated recommendations while educators monitor activity. Districts should evaluate how the product fits adopted curriculum, student needs, instructional time, and the work educators must do around it.
