Overview
Supplemental Content Vocabulary Grades K–12

Flocabulary is Nearpod’s educational hip-hop video and lesson platform. It is intended primarily for K–12 learners, especially students who benefit from music, rhythm, visuals, and repeated vocabulary exposure, with students, teachers, multilingual-learner staff, and literacy specialists using it to support academic vocabulary, background knowledge, content review, writing, and current events.

Teachers use standards-connected songs, videos, vocabulary activities, readings, quizzes, and lyric-writing tasks to introduce or reinforce concepts. Districts should evaluate how the product fits adopted curriculum, student needs, instructional time, and the work educators must do around it.
