Overview
Accessibility Tool Graphic Organizers Grades 6–12+

Corgi is CAST’s free accessible digital graphic-organizer suite. It is intended primarily for secondary and postsecondary learners who benefit from structured digital organizers, with students, teachers, special educators, multilingual-learner staff, and accessibility teams using it to support disciplinary reasoning, accessible graphic organization, cause/effect, comparison, and explanation.

Learners organize claims, evidence, sequences, comparisons, and systems thinking in accessible templates that teachers can embed in instruction. Districts should evaluate how the product fits adopted curriculum, student needs, instructional time, and the work educators must do around it.

Features
Audience and instructional role
  • Grades / learners: secondary and postsecondary learners who benefit from structured digital organizers
  • Primary users: students, teachers, special educators, multilingual-learner staff, and accessibility teams
  • Learning focus: disciplinary reasoning, accessible graphic organization, cause/effect, comparison, and explanation — CAST’s free accessible digital graphic-organizer suite
How it supports learning
  • Learners organize claims, evidence, sequences, comparisons, and systems thinking in accessible templates that teachers can embed in instruction.
  • Teachers should connect use to explicit learning goals and inspect student work rather than rely on completion, time-on-task, or engagement alone.
Implementation and instructional decisions
  • Treat Corgi as a scaffold, not curriculum; verify current support, login/data practices, export, screen-reader use, and when scaffolds should be faded or adapted.
  • Districts should confirm accessibility, language support, student-data practices, assignment workflow, reporting, and the continuing role of teacher judgment.
