Overview

MyTechDesk is a web-based ticket-management service developed and operated by the Imperial County Office of Education for California K–12 schools. It gives staff a simple place to submit service requests and lets support teams assign, prioritize, update, and close them.

Each ticket records dates, communication, resolution, time spent, and configurable information such as asset tags or budget codes. Workload and progress reporting help school and district teams document completed work and organize limited support capacity.

Features
Ticket intake and routing
  • Converts requests from supported email, portal, form, or staff channels into trackable tickets.
  • Uses categories, priorities, assignments, queues, notifications, and escalation rules to direct work.
Resolution and self-service

  • Provides knowledge-base or self-service capabilities where configured to reduce repeat requests.
