Xello is a K–12 college and career readiness platform that guides students from early self-discovery through career and postsecondary exploration, academic planning, work-based learning, and college applications. Students build a persistent profile of interests, skills, goals, experiences, portfolios, and plans while completing age-appropriate lessons and district-assigned readiness tasks.

Counselors and administrators use Xello to monitor completion, manage four-year plans, coordinate application documents, communicate with students, and report on district readiness requirements. The platform connects with SIS products, SSO and rostering services, Common App, Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, and other partners so planning work can use current student data and feed real application processes.

  • Offers curriculum and customizable completion standards for district or state readiness requirements.
College applications
  • Manages applications, deadlines, scholarships, recommendations, transcripts, FAFSA-related tasks, and admissions decisions.
  • Integrates with Common App and Parchment to support document submission and tracking.
Work-based learning
  • Lets districts publish local internships, job shadows, employer events, and other opportunities.
  • Provides coordinator tools for contacts, organizations, opportunities, student interest, and participation.
Data and reporting
  • Integrates with SIS platforms including Aeries, PowerSchool, Skyward, and Ed-Fi environments and supports optional SSO.
  • Provides student, school, and district reports, plus National Student Clearinghouse outcomes data where licensed.
