- Overview
-
MIDAS Education currently provides Data Forge for secure, role-based education analytics together with professional-development management and microcredential systems. Its public offering focuses on connecting disparate data, producing reproducible insights, managing professional learning, and documenting demonstrated educator skills.
This differs substantially from the catalog’s former description of MIDAS as an all-in-one SIS, LMS, website, compliance, and district-management system. The company remains active, but SDLA should confirm which generation of MIDAS each California district actually uses before treating those relationships as current Data Forge or professional-learning deployments.

A truly all-in-one package, the main components include a student information system, a learning management system, teacher professional development courses and management, website content management, data analytics, and full state and federal compliance reporting. The product has most of it's traction outside of California right now, but is quickly making in-roads into the state.
