Product Details

Overview
SpringBoard is a different kind of instructional program for grades 6–12. Developed by teachers for teachers, SpringBoard offers core instructional materials in print and digital that are fully aligned to state standards, Advanced Placement (AP) coursework, and the SAT Suite of Assessments. The program features student materials, teacher resources, and formative and summative assessments, as well as professional learning for teachers and administrators.

Features

Helping teachers—not telling them how to do it
The program's teacher tools and guidance give teachers the flexibility to apply its many powerful tools in the way that works best for them—and their students. A few examples:
  • Close Reading Workshops and Writing Workshops provide the option to focus on key reading and writing skills.
  • Turnitin Revision Assistant provides automated feedback on student writing, freeing teachers to concentrate on more meaningful tasks.
  • Zinc Learning Labs gives teachers and students access to a huge library of texts for independent reading.
  • Adaptive features in every lesson help teachers tailor instruction for different student needs.
Aligning to standards—while ensuring college and career readiness

The SpringBoard curriculum is aligned to state standards, and the connections to standards are made clear both to teachers and to students (in student-friendly language), at the beginning of each activity. And because it’s made by the College Board, the program’s instruction and assessments align with the skills, knowledge, and standards that ensure students are career and college ready. This includes being aligned to the SAT® Suite of Assessments: SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9.
