Amplify ELA is Amplify’s core middle-school English language arts curriculum. It is intended primarily for middle-school English language arts students, with ELA teachers, students, curriculum leaders, and intervention/support staff using it to support literature, informational text, knowledge building, discussion, vocabulary, writing, and language.
Students read complex texts, discuss ideas, conduct research, write frequently, and complete embedded assessment within sequenced thematic units. Districts should evaluate how the product fits adopted curriculum, student needs, instructional time, and the work educators must do around it.

Amplify offers an ELA program designed for students in grades 6-8. This blended English language arts curriculum engages all of their senses which encourages students to engage with the lessons and become more confident in their language comprehension and abilities. Connecting their powers of observation with the contemplation of complex texts makes it easier for them to get a handle on the curriculum. As opposed to focusing on right vs wrong answers, students are able to wrestle with concepts and ides and connect those themes to themselves through the development of ideas and opinions on real-world, relevant texts, instead of focusing on right or wrong answers.Dynamic texts, lively classroom discussions, & meaningful digital experiences all set them up to be successful in the classroom & for their next phase of learning once they enter high school.

It comes with a 100 Day Pathway which gives a guide outlining required content for each grade level and allowing teachers the time to add supplemental lessons and activities to compliment the existing curriculum.
