Supplemental Literacy Close Reading Grades 3–12
Actively Learn is McGraw Hill’s digital reading, annotation, and instructional-content platform. It is intended primarily for upper-elementary through high-school readers across ELA, science, and social studies, with students, teachers, literacy specialists, and curriculum leaders using it to support close reading, annotation, discussion, formative assessment, and disciplinary literacy.
Teachers assign texts or import content, embed questions and notes, provide scaffolds, and review annotations and written responses. Districts should evaluate how the product fits adopted curriculum, student needs, instructional time, and the work educators must do around it.
