Get Ready! is Vista Higher Learning’s introductory English-language-development program. It is intended primarily for secondary newcomer and beginning English learners, with students, ELD teachers, multilingual-learner specialists, and curriculum leaders using it to support english language development, survival language, academic vocabulary, literacy, and school participation.
Students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing through sequenced language lessons and culturally relevant school contexts. Districts should evaluate how the product fits adopted curriculum, student needs, instructional time, and the work educators must do around it.
