The California Department of Education makes available both face-to-face in-person training workshops as well as an online "course" that participants can take at their own pace.  The information in both sessions is identical - only the delivery format is different.

The face-to-face workshops are offered infrequently, regionally, and usually many months ahead of when the actual testing will occur.  As a result, the online course is usually a good resource for those individuals who cannot participate in the in-person training workshops.

The online courses are delivered via a learning management system called "Moodle" (so it's common to refer to them as the 'ELPAC Moodle Courses'.  Again, the content is the same as the in-person workshops, but it is divided into smaller sections and delivered online via videos and downloadable PDF files.

The actual site can be found here:  https://moodle.elpac.org/

Prior to logging in for the first time, you will need one of three different types of access codes. There are separate courses for the Initial ELPAC training and the Summative ELPAC training.  In addition to these two courses, there are also three different levels of support resources.  The first tier is for Trainers.  It contains resources designed for district leaders to train other ELPAC test administrators.  The second tier is for those ELPAC test administrators and contains information relevant to the delivery of the test.  Finally, there is a third tier for those that just want to download the relevant materials.

The level of your participation is determined at the local district location. Each school is provided a set of three login codes.  You simply use this login code when visiting the site for the first time in order to access the appropriate course tier.

Note:  There are separate access codes for the Initial and for the Summative course materials.
